Crazy

This is a song about a man, (or woman but the song is depicted as a man), who is frustrated and angry at his girlfriend/wife.  He feels slighted or unjustly treated for what ever reason.  Regardless the narrator of the song tells him, indirectly, that he is to blame which is why everywhere he looks he sees his own image…not hers.  He’s reminded of core beliefs he believed in and reminded to continue to put those beliefs in practice.  The narrator points out the old cliché that a glass can be half empty or half full, it depends on how you look and perceive it.  He’s told to be thankful for what he’s got instead of complaining about the little things he’s lost.  He is also reminded that if he steps back and opens his eyes he’d realize he has a great partner.  He is reminded that no one is perfect, especially him and to stop thinking only about himself.
