I Need A Lover That’s Alive

This is a song about a man who states he needs a lover that acts alive because his woman is lifeless in bed.  He states she doesn’t move or laugh or cry.  She just lies there like a corpse which kills the mood of any intimacy.  He states he needs a spark to light a fire within them both.  He asks if she just wants out of the relationship or what?

This song was inspired by a relationship I had in my early twenties with a girl who was as lifeless as a brick wall.   As in the song, it was like lying next to a corpse.  Needless to say, our relationship only lasted about a week.
