You’ve Changed

This is a song about a man who finally got tired of his lover’s new habits of drunkenness and self destructive tendencies.  His reference to the song playing on the radio was “Lady Madonna” by the Beatles.  So it leads us to think prostitution must also be one of her new past times.  Regardless, he states he’s already on the train when she finally wakes up from her drunken stupor. His comment that she is passed out lying in an array of empty beer cans.  Not a very nice scene. He relents, stating she changed and their relationship is through.
