A Moonlit Saturday Night

This is a song about a young man who was probably bored and started out one night hanging out on a street corner with nothing better to do.  Having a beer or two he notices people dancing in the street, in what he deemed was just “acting like a bunch of dumb fools”.  As the story progresses, he sees friends there as well as a girl he liked named Jenny.  He and Jenny end up dancing in the street as well and he decides that he doesn’t care if he’s acting like a silly dumb fool or not, because he found it was better dancing with Jenny than just hanging out alone on a street corner.   He realized that “nothin’ is for certain” because you never know when you might turn and fall in love.

I too find it amazing how men can change their whole perspective on life by the influence of a pretty young girl, without her saying a word.  Yep….amazing.
