Dear Heart

This is a song about a relationship that ended due to a fight.  The man regrets the verbal abuse he spewed at her.  He regrets his actions now that his bed is empty and his home is lonely.  Its a reminder to all of us that choices we make have consequences; both good and bad.  He is now reaping the consequence of his choice to verbally abuse his girlfriend or wife.  In the end, he hopes his contrition and asking for forgiveness will be enough for them to be reunited.
