Lucy, You’re So Special

This is a song about a man who is in love with the mother of a little girl.  He seldom has the chance to interact with the little girl, and then its only a little on line or an occasional visit.  He admires the little girl who prepares herself for school and is so self sufficient.  She asks her mom to tell her more about the man, and asks her mom if she loves him.  She listens to her mom’s answers and then gives her mom the ok to date or marry the man.  Its a sweet song about a small family with a little girl who has no dad.  A small family who love each other and a man who is in love with the girl’s mom but also has a heart to be the little girls dad. He feels compelled to let her know he thinks she’s special and would love to be her dad.  It’s a precious song about a man who has compassion for a young girl who needs a father in her life. If you have a heart for kids it’ll make you smile or cry.
