It’s Never Enough

This is a song about a woman who constantly complains and criticizes her boyfriend or spouse.  She is constantly rude and condescending.  She displays a continual sense of victimhood in that it’s always someone else’s fault but never her own.   She lives alone because of her harsh words and belittling attitude.

In the song, the character is depicted as a woman but it just as easily could’ve been a man.  People that display this type of behavior are narcissistic or most likely suffer from a borderline personality disorder.  They are toxic people who have little, if any, empathy for others or show any sign of sensitive emotion.  They can be cruel and abusive.
