Love From A Broken Heart

This song is about a man who recently ended his relationship with his wife or girlfriend.  He’s sitting at a campfire with his guitar trying to create a song about his ex to help him vent and heal.  He is interrupted by a woman he knew, who had been drinking heavily, who had just been dumped by her boyfriend.  The man realizes she’s plastered out of her mind and has her sit down before she fell down and hurt herself.  At some point he states he realizes she might pass out because she drank way too much.  He comforts her and she responds to his kindness by giving him a kiss after wiping the tears from her eyes.  As the story moves on, they realize they were falling in love with each other.  It’s apparent her ex wasn’t very kind and she needed someone she could trust and rely on. 

It’s a very nice love story and I must have played this song a million times.  I like the melody, the lyrics and the movement of the song.  I think it’s one of my best.
