Prayin’ With My Guitar

This is a song about a guy who is praying with his guitar and singing by himself, wishing he wasn’t alone.  He plays blues songs because he is heart broken over his girlfriend/wife who has left him.  He hopes for her return but until that day happens he continues to pray with his guitar singing blues songs and feeling sorry for himself.  

Many people who experience losses in life turn to their music to play sad songs to help them grieve.  This man chose to play his guitar, make up songs as he went along.  It was his way of helping him to grieve.
