Silent Voices

This song is about the horrible tragedy that befalls so many of todays children….sexual abuse.  Its become an epidemic.  We hear reports of politicians, world leaders, teachers, clergy, parents, and on and on.  The song isn’t just a reminder of the problem but more of a country prayer asking God to forgive our nation in spite of the evil that some perpetrate on our youth.

As someone who was a survivor of child sexual abuse I can attest to the trauma it leaves.  People who do this to children aren’t sick….they are evil.  I have known too many pedophiles in my own life, those who abused me and relatives who abused others.  They are experts at hiding in plain sight.  If you are reading this and were a victim of abuse yourself, it is not and never was your fault.  Abusers manipulated you for their own demonic gratification.

I personally don’t believe pedophiles can be reformed or change.  If you or someone you know is being abused.  Report it to the police.  People who abuse you are evil criminals and by you reporting it to the police, ………you helped to save others from being abused by them because you are never the only one they will abuse.
