Starting Over Was More Than A Song

This song is a tribute and/or a memorial to John Lennon.  His murder was a senseless act.

The song describes how John’s wife, Yoko Ono, must have felt after having to go back to their home knowing he wasn’t coming back.  Sitting in dining room night after night hearing his voice in her head while trying to figure out how to tell her son his father was no longer going to be there.  

It also states the question of whether or not his murder was politically motivated and orchestrated by the government due to John’s outspokenness.  Was it a way of shutting him up for good?
