You Were Right You Know

This song is about forgiveness and realizing we make mistakes but making mistakes doesn’t mean it has to be the end of a relationship.  We grow and learn from our mistakes….and I’ve made plenty….more than I’d like to admit.  The man in the song realizes he was wrong and he was man enough to admit to his spouse / girlfriend that she was right.  (This is not easy for most men to admit.  Stabbing yourself with a fork in the head might be easier to deal with), but it happens more than we may want to admit.  Regardless, the issue is irrelevant.  What is relevant is that he realized his mistake, acknowledged she was right, asked forgiveness and wanted to move forward with the woman he loved.  And don’t tell my wife I wrote this.  And no, this isn’t an Ann Landers or Dear Abby piece.  LOL
