This is a serious song about a military veteran who returns from war with severe PTSD. He’s haunted by what he saw and what he had to do. The guilt haunts him each day. He is unable to adjust to regular civilian life again and finally takes his own life desperate to escape the pain and guilt. The song is a testament to the struggle so many of our heroic veterans of all the branches of service battle with. The rise of suicides among veterans returning from wars is heartbreaking but unfortunately it will never stop, because war is a profit machine for evil men. I hope this song will at least commemorate their tragic sacrifice.
Wow that was a beautiful song and music awesome. It hit home very heartbreaking but true. You are an excellent entertainer. Why haven’t we heard you before. Id like to play it for my 99 year old client. He started in ww2 and every war after that. He has a purple heart and a silver star. He is a retired officer. He went to Africa at age of 85 by himself to go hunting. I wish you could meet this man. Hank Warren is is name.
Thank you for making think of our hurt soldiers.

Michelle,
Thank you so much for your kind words. I applaud you for helping my fellow vets. They’ve given so much of themselves and its nice to hear from someone who appreciates their sacrifices. I was a corpsman in the Navy and I saw many who were wounded with wounds you couldn’t see.
